Prestige does all of our security work from our office in Kamloops which includes all of our alarm monitoring. When you sign up with us, you stay with us. Other security companies in town use 3rd party monitoring stations. This means your account is handed off to another company in a different location in Canada or the US for your alarm monitoring. In some cases your security company actually sells your alarm monitoring conract to other monitoring stations. This may mean that your ULC certification is null and void.

We are able to connect to existing home or business alarm systems, as well as provide quotes for new alarm installations, video camera installations, or upgrades.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I already have a security system. How do I switch to your monitoring company.
Prestige can switch your system free of charge, and in most cases we do not need to replace any of the security equipment. When you contact us we will ask you a few questions about your existing security panel and arrange for our technician to come out and see you.
If I sign up with you, can I receive a discount on my insurance?
Yes, we are able to provide you with certificates for your insurance company. We are an approved ULC monitoring station.
Can I use my phone to access my security system?
Yes, we have systems that you can access through an app on your smart device. Contact us to find out more information.
I don't have a home phone line, can I still install a security system?
Yes! The newer security panels are able to connect through your existing Internet Services. There is also devices that can be installed that use cellular network to communicate signals to the central monitoring station. Contact us to find our more information.
